Notify CD Player Free
Jens Andersen has managed to create a very simple player for CD. This player was inspired by Linn LA-3d and Discman.
It supports the multiple disc support of Linn, the disc info of Discman and takes in very little memory. It has a memory buffer of 127 samples for each track and supports CAV at the maximum speed of 2048 kbits/sec. It does not have a cd drive but it uses a data cable to connect to your computer. So you need an external HDD to store your music. This player is a lot smaller, has no optical drive and runs very quiet. It looks nice on your desktop and it is very suitable for kids and good for travelling.
These are the hardware requirements:
Ram: At least 256MB
Hard Drive: About 250MB
CD-player: CD-5520 / CD-5560 or compatible
You can use a pen drive as a music storage device, an older 3,5 inch hard drive (with a adapter) or even a hard disk, if you have one. You can install the program in a hard disk or even in a pen drive but you must make sure the cd-player has support to play the disc.
This is a project i have been tinkering with for a while. I dont like the old way of taking a long time getting a track. I feel that it could be a bit more user friendly. As you can see in the download link above there is a zip folder. Inside there is a small program and an.ini file. Inside the.ini file you can make changes if you wanted to. I prefer to keep the program as lean as possible. As most people know the program can be started with a little shortcut on the desktop. As you can see in the download link there is a 9mb zip file with the program and all associated folders. The small program opens up very quick and you can make changes and it will work very fast. But it can also run under windows 95,98, ME,XP. As long as your computer dosent have hardware problems such as ram problems.
As you can see in the download links above there are 3.exe files. The first two are made for making physical copies of a disc. The third is for making a virtual copy. This is to help new users. The virtual copy allows for a new users to make a virtual disc and apply a disc to a folder. You can also change the

What’s New In Notify CD Player?
This CD player is based on CDPLAYER.INI as local database.
It includes an own database for CDPLAYER.INI which holds all CD information (Note: you need this database after the first run to your computer).
You can use the “Auto Place” function to automatically detect the location and other properties of a new CD.
You can use the built-in functions “CheckCD” and “CheckDisc” which use the CDDB Server to get information from CDDB.
Please be aware that you need a CEDICT.COM server to get CEDICTS from CDDB.
If you get the error “CDDB license required”, you need to have a valid CDPLAYER license and you need to place your license file in the same directory as your CDPLAYER program.
You need to have Windows 2000 or later (Windows 98 is not supported).
You need to have Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox (with CDDBPlugin for Firefox) to be able to use the Remote version.
You need to have the cddb.dll and mysqldb.so libraries to be able to use the Remote version.
