Stream MP3 Music Directly to DLNA/UPnP-Compatible Devices If you want to get your PC’s music directly to a UPnP/DLNA-compatible device, such as a TV or an audio system, using a Wi-Fi network is a much easier and more reliable method than using streaming software.
With FreeDLNA, everything is straightforward and simple to set up. All you need to do is copy the URL of the DLNA server you’ve specified for your device, open it on your chosen device and start streaming music.
Don’t have a DLNA server? No problem, as you can always set up your own. After all, if you’ve got nothing to use as a DLNA server, you may as well set up one yourself!
Use FreeDLNA to stream MP3 music directly to DLNA/UPnP-compatible devicesYou can use FreeDLNA to stream MP3 music directly to a DLNA/UPnP-compatible device such as a TV or a network receiver.
To do this, click on the FreeDLNA icon in your system tray, go to Preferences and select the target device. It is that simple.
The process of setting up the device isn’t as simple, however. You’ll first need to register your device at My Computer Utilities, and set it up as a DLNA server. Once this is done, you can then connect to the device using the device’s IP address.
That’s all there is to it! You don’t need to set up your own DLNA server at all, and you don’t need to download any additional software.

How to format a date in C#
I’m getting a date string from a web service and want to format it to UTC time.
String inputDate = “20200220”;
I know I can use the DateTime.ParseExact and give it a format string but how do I get to UTC time? I tried
DateTime utcDateTime = DateTime.ParseExact(inputDate, “yyyyMMdd”, null);
but this didn’t work.
If you use the ToUniversalTime method, you will get the UTC time.
string inputDate = “20101203”;
string udtFormat = “yyyyMMdd”;
string utcFormat = “yyyyMMddTHHmmssZ”;
DateTime.TryParseExact(inputDate, udtFormat, CultureInfo.InvariantCulture, DateTimeStyles.None, out DateTime mydate);
DateTime.TryParseExact(mydate.ToUniversalTime(), utcFormat, CultureInfo.InvariantCulture, DateTimeSty
