To do this, simply press Alt + Ctrl + U and click on the picture that you want to convert into a vector image. This will create a new Smart Object so that the new image can be easily modified.
If you have images with multiple layers and have selected a part of an image, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and then choose Smart Object. A little box will appear with some options, including Delete Layer Style and Edit Layer Style. Delete Layer Style is useful for deleting any Styles, or Light and Dark Details in the image. This will be useful if you want to delete an individual layer.
The Edit Layer Style option will open up the “Edit Layer Styles” dialog box, as shown in the screen shot below. From here, you can edit the styling.
Let’s say that you have some images or parts of images that you want to remove. One way to do this is to use the Eraser tool. When you press Ctrl + Alt + E, a new layer will be created at the mouse cursor, which will be the layer where you want to remove the image.
